The Process
STAGE 1
CONCEPTS
In this stage, we will meet to conduct a brainstorming session. It’s important to include the builder, designer, and you in this session. The goal is to arrive at the theme and direction for the plans. Ideally, we will come to this meeting with a design proposal and cost estimates so that we have a starting point in the discussion.
STAGE 2
DEVELOPMENT OF YOUR DESIGN
Once you have deiced on the concept and direction, we will begin creating drawings and plans with precise dimensions, measurements and details on fit-and finish for your project. You will also have more precise cost estimates in order to make final tweaks and decisions before we move to the building stage.
STAGE 3
FINAL CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
You will be presented with a construction contract at a fixed price, complete drawings and a written project plan that includes selections of materials, construction schedule, schedule of payments and a copy of our warranty. Now it’s time to build!
STAGE 4
BUILD STAGE
The time period for this stage will depend on the size and scope of your project. The key focus for us here is to assure you are involved at the exact level you want to be and that you feel comfortable with the progress and quality all along the way. We want to communicate with you in the exact way you expect. It’s your dream and our hands, and we understand that the heart and the hands need to work together to achieve your goals.
STAGE 5
WALK-THROUGH & ORIENTATION
We will schedule a time to orient you with all the facets of your finished product. We will be sure you know how to program the thermostat, run your new double oven, and operate your sprinklers.
STAGE 6
ENJOY & BE ASSURED!
